Bombshell Bootcamp - How to be a Pin-Up Girl Class

Baltimore Burlesque Academy's Bombshell Bootcamp workshop is now accepting registrations. Have you ever wanted to be a Pin-Up girl or just look like one for that special someone? Well now is your chance! You will spend the day learning about vintage hairstyles, make-up, wardrobe and even posing for the end of the day photo shoot. Every student will pose for and have photos taken with her new look and acquired skills. The best part is you get photos and a goodie bag from our sponsors! We have a body positive mindset and encourage all shapes and sizes to attend, every girl can be a pinup girl! The class is just $125 which includes hairstyling, makeup demo, photoshoot with 1 outfit, photo prints and a goodie bag! Classes fill fast and space is limited.

Intro to BurlyQ- Bump n' Grind for the Beginner

Intro to BurlyQ is a 2 hour class which will give the novice a great introduction to the world of burlesque including history, the modern day popularity, traditional bump n' grind moves and playing with sexy burlesque props! A great way to get your feet wet, we guarantee you'll crave more! Class fee is just $35. Space is limited, pre-registration required & encouraged. No Drop-ins.
*This class does NOT involve nudity. 18+ only

Great if you are curious about Burlesque or a perfect primer for our 6 week performance series starting in July!

Photo Promotion Day! July 24th

WOW! Have I "wheeled and dealed"! I am proud to announce BBA's 1st Photo Promotion Day! On July 24th I will have professional photographer Heidi King as well as a MUA Lola Tangle on hand at the beautiful historic Graffiti Warehouse. She will be taking gorgeous photos of participating students in full Burlesque costume! Best part is, you can use these images for self-promotion!

A great opportunity to get professional photos & make-up tips all in one sitting!

You get 4 professional, edited photos. (photos will have Heidi/Lola's watermark)

Monthly Feedback Workshop July 17th

Bring your acts in progress, costumes, concepts etc. to our very first Monthly Feedback Workshop! July 17th. 12pm-2pm.

This is a great opportunity to get peer review on your new acts. It is always a great help to be able to throw something out there and see what others think. It's going to be a lot of fun getting to know your fellow BurlyQ gals and getting help while you're at it.

$12 Includes 2 hour session, Light Snack & Beverage

Burlesque! for the Budding Showgirl-6wk Performance Workshop Starting June 25th!

The Burlesque Starlet Series is for the budding showgirl in you! This series is an act development course that will help you bring excitement & sexiness to the stage! It's open to all levels and will help you craft your burlesque character, take it all off, boost your confidence, own your body and will culminate in a live show! THIS IS NOT TO BE MISSED!

Saturdays Starting June 25th 2:15-3:30pm

(Note: July 2nd class will be moved to the Wednesday prior to accommodate Fourth of July Holiday Plans)
